Meet the Team

Meet Jenaye Hill, BA, CHW (intern)

Specialties:

What is Jenaye's background?

I've worked in rural community settings and enjoyed connecting people with resources they need for

whole-person health and wellness. This includes helping co-write a grant to purchase bikes for free checkout options for public library patrons! I am also a certified Community Health Worker (CHW) through the Ohio Board of Nursing.

What is Jenaye's specialty/area of interest?

My passion is advocating for disability rights. I also enjoy working with neurodiverse people.

Why did Jenaye choose the mental health field?

In generations past, mental health was not at the forefront of importance for accessing good care. It was kept hush-hush, and a certain fear in acknowledgement. Recent decades have changed this, and many companies make sure to offer access to the needed care. I am glad to be able to take part in strides to normalize mental health care access.

What does Jenaye like to do in her free time?

I like to be outside as much as possible, which most often involves a bike, hike or walk. I've taken up

knitting recently, which is a brain soother. I love to read and have piles of books that I can't wait to reach for when I have spare time.

Highlight:

Jenaye's wellness approach is rooted in the development of an authentic relationship with any individual within a clinical practice framework.
