Website Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 5, 2026 · Last Updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, digital content, online resources, forms, educational materials, and related online services provided by Douglass Enterprises LLC d/b/a Goal Driven Counseling, Coaching & Consulting Wellness Services (“GDC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About GDC
Goal Driven Counseling, Coaching & Consulting Wellness Services is a trade name and DBA of Douglass Enterprises LLC.
GDC provides counseling, coaching, consulting, organizational wellness, professional development, educational resources, clinician learning opportunities, digital products, and related services.
Not every service described on this website is available to every individual, organization, geographic location, or circumstance.
2. Website Information Is Not Counseling or Medical Advice
Information provided on this website is intended for general informational, educational, and resource purposes.
Website content is not a substitute for individualized:
- mental health treatment;
- psychotherapy;
- medical care;
- psychiatric care;
- diagnosis;
- legal advice; or
- other professional services requiring an individualized assessment.
You should not rely on website content alone to make decisions about your mental health, medical care, safety, or treatment.
3. No Therapist-Client Relationship Is Created by Using This Website
Visiting this website, reading GDC content, submitting a form, sending an email, requesting an appointment, or communicating with GDC does not by itself establish a therapist-client relationship.
A counseling relationship is established only after appropriate onboarding requirements have been completed, the prospective client and GDC have mutually agreed to proceed, applicable consent and practice documents have been completed, and services have formally begun.
Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee acceptance as a client or availability with a particular therapist.
4. No Company or Consulting Relationship Is Created by an Inquiry
Submitting an organizational inquiry, completing an Alignment Call form, participating in an introductory conversation, or requesting information does not create a consulting, coaching, training, or contractual relationship between GDC and an organization.
Company and consulting engagements begin only after the parties agree to applicable scope, terms, fees, scheduling, and any required written agreement.
5. Emergency and Crisis Situations
The GDC website, contact forms, email addresses, text messaging, appointment-request tools, and social media accounts are not emergency or crisis-response services and should not be used for urgent mental health or safety concerns.
GDC cannot guarantee that messages submitted through these channels will be reviewed immediately.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
If you are experiencing a mental health or suicide-related crisis in the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
6. Secure Communications for Counseling Clients
Standard website forms, ordinary text messaging, and public-facing website features should not be used to communicate detailed clinical or sensitive health information unless GDC specifically directs you to do so.
GDC may use text messaging to assist with inquiries and initial appointment scheduling and coordination.
Once an individual becomes an established counseling client, care-related communications are handled through GDC’s designated HIPAA-secure client portal or HIPAA-secure email system, as appropriate.
Clinical privacy practices are further described in GDC’s Notice of Privacy Practices.
7. Eligibility and Geographic Limitations
Certain counseling and professional services are subject to professional licensure, jurisdictional, age, geographic, or other eligibility requirements.
The presence of information about a service on this website does not mean that the service is legally or clinically available to every visitor.
GDC may determine that a requested service is not appropriate or available based on location, clinical fit, therapist availability, scope of practice, organizational capacity, or other relevant considerations.
8. Access Initiative
Information regarding GDC’s Access Initiative is provided for informational purposes and does not guarantee reduced-fee or pro bono services.
Access Initiative participation may depend on factors including eligibility, financial circumstances, clinical fit, trainee placement, supervision capacity, and current availability.
Submitting an inquiry or expressing interest does not guarantee placement in the program.
9. Clinical Trainees and Training Models
Certain GDC services may involve master’s-level graduate trainees working under appropriate clinical supervision.
GDC may also use a co-counseling training model in which a licensed clinician and clinical trainee participate in sessions together for clinical support, training, modeling, and continuity of care.
Where applicable, clients will receive appropriate information about trainee participation and provide any required consent before receiving services through a training model.
10. Clinical Community and Educational Content
GDC may provide courses, continuing education, professional development, events, consultations, resources, tools, and other educational materials through its Clinical Community.
Educational content is intended to support learning and professional development and is not a substitute for:
- individualized clinical supervision;
- legal advice;
- licensure-board guidance;
- organizational legal counsel;
- professional ethics consultation when formally required; or
- independent professional judgment.
Participants remain responsible for complying with the laws, ethical requirements, licensing rules, employer policies, and professional standards applicable to their own work.
11. Continuing Education
When GDC offers continuing education credit, eligibility for credit may depend on attendance, completion, evaluation, participation, jurisdiction, credential type, or other stated requirements.
Participants are responsible for confirming whether a course or event satisfies the requirements of their own licensing board, credentialing organization, employer, or jurisdiction.
GDC does not guarantee that every educational offering will qualify for continuing education credit for every profession or jurisdiction.
12. Digital Products and Resources
GDC may offer downloadable or interactive digital products, journals, card decks, guides, templates, professional tools, educational materials, and similar resources.
Unless otherwise stated, digital products are licensed for the purchaser’s personal or authorized professional use and are not sold with ownership of GDC’s underlying intellectual property.
You may not, without written permission from GDC:
- reproduce or redistribute a digital product for commercial purposes;
- upload purchased materials to a public website, shared repository, or file-sharing platform;
- resell or sublicense GDC materials;
- remove GDC copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
- claim GDC materials as your own; or
- create substantially copied commercial products based on GDC materials.
Any specific license terms presented with a product will also apply.
13. Purchases, Payments, and Additional Terms
Certain products, events, courses, counseling services, organizational engagements, or other offerings may require payment.
Additional terms relating to fees, cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, attendance, licenses, or service delivery may be presented at the time of purchase, registration, intake, or contracting.
Those additional terms are incorporated into these Terms where applicable.
If a separate written agreement conflicts with these general website Terms regarding a specific service, the specific written agreement will control for that service.
14. Accounts, Portals, and Login Credentials
Certain features may require an account, including the Client Portal, Partner Portal, Clinical Community, My Learning, or other restricted-access areas.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You agree not to:
- share login credentials with unauthorized individuals;
- access another person’s account;
- attempt to bypass authentication or security controls;
- interfere with portal functionality; or
- use an account for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
Please notify GDC promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
15. Forms and Information You Submit
You agree that information you provide through GDC forms will be accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to provide the information submitted.
Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, or malicious information.
Submitting a form does not guarantee that GDC will accept an inquiry, provide services, establish a professional relationship, or respond within a particular timeframe.
16. Employment and Practicum Applications
Submitting an application for employment, contracting, internship, practicum, or other professional opportunities does not create an employment relationship or guarantee an interview, placement, or offer.
GDC may maintain information from aligned applicants for consideration through its Talent Community where appropriate.
Any employment or contractual relationship is governed by separate agreements and applicable policies.
17. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the GDC website and its content are owned by or licensed to Douglass Enterprises LLC.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of GDC intellectual property to you.
18. Trademarks and Proprietary Programs
Names, logos, program names, frameworks, and branded materials associated with GDC may constitute trademarks, service marks, copyrighted works, or other proprietary intellectual property.
Use of GDC’s name or materials does not grant permission to represent that GDC endorses, sponsors, certifies, partners with, or is affiliated with another individual, organization, product, or service unless GDC has provided written authorization.

20. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including scheduling platforms, forms, payment systems, learning platforms, secure portals, social media, video services, or external websites.
GDC does not control every third-party platform and is not responsible for the independent content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices of services we do not operate.
Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
21. Website Availability and Accuracy
GDC works to keep website information useful and current, but we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Services, staff availability, fees, insurance participation, programs, events, products, educational offerings, and other website information may change.

Nothing in this section limits obligations that GDC may have under applicable healthcare, professional, consumer-protection, contractual, or other law.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Douglass Enterprises LLC and GDC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising solely from use of or inability to use the public website or general informational website content.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or responsibilities arising from an established professional relationship where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.
24. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, liabilities, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or unauthorized use of GDC content.

27. Changes to These Terms
GDC may revise these Terms as services, website functionality, technologies, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be posted on this website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.
Nothing in these Terms prevents the application of federal law or another jurisdiction’s mandatory legal protections where applicable.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
